Life and Cooking...

I'm standing here in my kitchen, trying my second new dish in a week. First was homemade baked chicken mac and cheese. It was DELICIOUS. I wanted something starchy and cheesy and filling and it was the best thing. Thank you pinterest!

Pictures of the Mac and Cheese!

Tonight I'm trying baked sweet and sour chicken and fried rice (also from Pinterest) It really wasn't too challenging and it's making my mouth water every time I open the oven. Only 22 minutes and 12 seconds until we get to devour it!

This was the sweet and sour chicken and fried rice. Looks pretty good for homemade right?

As I'm standing here waiting and working on the fried rice, I was thinking about today and this week and the fact that it's already March. How did that happen? I have to say that I'm loving this "Spring" weather. My kids are wild and have major Spring fever but it has been so nice to get to come home and end the day doing something outdoors.  This afternoon I went grocery shopping (so much easier when it's warm and not rainy) and then came home and cut Brandon's hair.  Not so sure how well I did, but just compliment it when you see it for his sake :)

On another note, I get an iphone in 2 days. yes 2 days. I mean.. I know it's just a phone but my phone is on my hip constantly and I am way over this LG Ally that decides when it wants to work and when it doesn't.

To continue with this rambling - I think I'll mention our house. We are going to be building SOON. The process is slow but we are almost to the point where we can really start. And I can't wait. Brandon can't wait for his studio and I can't wait for 2 bedrooms, a washer and dryer and a dishwasher. I also can't wait to be "established" cause that means we can start thinking about a baby. Not that I'm not already thinking. Have you met my favorite baby Justice? Can you say baby fever? I think I'm getting really close to ready for all that!

Well that's life for me. And now it's almost dinner time!
Praise God for his goodness. In the end, it's all (and only) about Him!
